  1. HOW MUCH?

Our prices are for complete systems. Each system includes every component needed for the energy solution to function safely and sufficiently. The price you see is the final cost to you. This saves you time and effort trying to find elusive components that other vendors tend to exclude so as to make their offers seem cheaper.

  2. WHAT IS ENERGY & ELECTRICAL AUDIT?

If you own or occupy a building premises, it is recommended that you have annual energy and electrical audits. The audit comprises of 2 parts: energy analysis, and electrical inspection and testing.

  3. WHY SHOULD I GET A SOLAR DESIGN

At the beginning of each project, it is highly recommended that you order an energy and electrical audit to help determine your loads profile, and the suitability of your buildings’s electrical systems. The information is crucial for proper sizing of your energy system.

If the energy system is to be a new property, it is highly recommended that we work with the architect, very early in the building design phase. This is especially important for customers who want to be “totally off-grid” because the onsite energy system will become the primary supply of the electrical installation. Also, the solar PV installation will be affected by the orientation, shape and size of the roof.

  4. WHY A FEE FOR DESIGN & QUOTE?

RITILITY specialises in energy systems that can provide for entire household or commercial premises or community infrastructure. Because the utility grid is often unreliable or insufficient or simply unavailable in many locations, we design and install all our systems to be resilient hybrids: capable of continuing to perform whether in grid-tie and “off-grid” modes. These are considerable undertakings, typically involving extensive technical competence, engineering resources, time and effort, lethal electricity, and costing ₦millions.

System engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) are value-added services. Each proposed energy solution is semi-custom to the individual customer, because no two sets of customer situations are the same. We adapt the strengths and compatibilities of various technologies and industry-best practices to develop the design solution that suits your needs and budget.

  5. WHAT'S IN THE DESIGN & QUOTE SERVICE?

Our response to your Request for Design & Quote will include a single-line diagram of a complete energy system, and a quote for supply of the system components. If you requested an energy and electrical audit, the cost for this service will be included in our response. If you have requested installation and commissioning, the costs of these additional services will also be included in our response.

We will perform these services to the best of our technical knowledge and ability, given the information that you provide to us.

  6. DO RITILITY INSTALL SYSTEMS?

    Yes, go to Electrical Contracting

  9. ANOTHER INSTALLER SETUP OUR SYSTEM. CAN RITILITY MAINTAIN IT?

RICARE maintenance service plans can cover systems of other installers, only if the design, components and installation are approved by us as being safe and sufficient. The process will be greatly assisted if your installation has comolete and up-to-date documentation. The onboarding process will need to include:

    • an energy analysis of the premises, and
    • an electrical installation inspection and testing of the electrical wiring and protective devices of the premises, and
    • an inspection and testing of the energy system.

Any deficiencies found will be reported to you to action for remediation. If approved for maintenance service, the system must be subject to a continuous paid-up service plan operated by us.

  10. FREE FEES? DEDUCTIBLE COSTS?

    Some fees are deductible.

The design and quote service is complimentary if you have bought an energy system. Fees for design & quote are deducted from total purchase costs of energy system if you order for supply of the system, and complete payment. Otherwise there is a “goodwill” payment that covers some of our costs.

The initial Energy and Electrical Audit fees are deducted from total installation costs if you order and complete payment for retrofit installation of the system in an existing residential premises. Otherwise non-refundable fees apply.

Commissioning fees are deducted from total purchase costs of energy systems, solar PV systems, or battery energy storage if you order and complete payment for maintenance service plans. Otherwise non-refundable fees apply.
